About CDNA
The Connecticut Daily Newspaper Association (CDNA) is the official trade association for Connecticut's Daily Newspapers. CDNA was founded in 1904 as an advocate for Connecticut newspaper publishers as well as a means to collaborate on solving the problems affecting the newspaper industry. As the newspaper industry evolves in this electronic age into a multimedia information industry, CDNA intends to work with its members to help them effectively navigate these seas of change.
CDNA's primary focus is advocacy for newspapers and those in the news gathering industry. Over the years CDNA's lobbyists, the TCORS Capitol Group, have successfully navigated the legislative waters and have been able to repeal tax issues, pass the reporter shield law and fend off attacks from cities and towns that seek to remove public notices from newspapers.
If you are with a newspaper, blog or other news gathering group and are looking to get involved please call Chris VanDeHoef at 860.541.6438 or email at chris@ctcapitolgroup.com.
